As per High Court judge’s ruling, Prince Harry’s legal battle over police protection in the UK will have parts concealed from public.
The Duke of Sussex is currently challenging the UK government over allowance for security payment for his family when they’re in the country.
Harry, who wants to bring his two children to visit from the US is afraid to return home without security, dubbing it too ‘dangerous’ for the Sussexes.
The Duke’s claim adds that his private protection in the US is not equipped enough to accompany them in UK, considering it does not have adequate intelligence information. The Sussexes lost their taxpayer-funded police protection after quitting as senior working royals in early 2020.
Harry and Meghan, who moved to US after taking a back seat as senior royals, were expected to join the Queen for grandfather Philip’s memorial service this month- an event they now have opted out of.
Harry’s spokesperson maintained that although the Duke is not going to attend the Westminster Abbey service, he is hoping to visit the Queen soon.
