Kim Kardashian took to Instagram on Saturday to share a slew of press boxes she received.
Among them was a gifted kit from Ariana Grande’s R.E.M. makeup brand, proving there’s no ill-feelings between the two as Kim dates her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson.
It isn’t the first time the mogul, 41, has lauded the 28-year-old pop star’s beauty brand; she also shared it back in November.
At the time, Kim and Pete were only rumored to be dating, but now they’re romance has fully blossomed. Months ago the reality star recorded herself unboxing the R.E.M. products and gushed about how ‘excited’ she was. ‘Special delivery from Ariana and REM beauty. Look at this, I’m so excited,’ the SKIMS founder said as she showed off an array of products which included eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipsticks and highlighter.
This time around, Kim simply shared a photo of the merchandise, which had a side profile image of the musician on it Kardashian tagged both Ariana and the official R.E.M. Instagram account as she showed off the offerings. The circular box included lipstick, a blue bottle of spray, and other small cosmetics.
The mom-of-four also shared a beauty box from Gwen Stefani’s new makeup range, a package from singer Rosalia, sunglasses from friend Paris Hilton, and a Reebok collaboration with Victoria Beckham. While Kim has a line of makeup as well, the two women have a bit more in common than just their love for beauty products.
Kim recently went Instagram official with Davidson – who Grande had a whirlwind romance with in 2018 – following months of them being photographed together on dates in LA and NYC. But with the 7 Rings singer sending the SKIMS founder products for a second time, the ladies appear to be nothing short of good. Ariana began dating the SNL funnyman in May 2018 and they were swiftly engaged just weeks later. It was reported that he immediately commissioned an engagement ring from designer Greg Yuna and she debuted the sparkler in early June of that year.
Pete told GQ: ‘The day I met her, I was like, “Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow.” She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, “Do you like any of these?” She was like, “Those are my favorite ones,” and I was like, “Sick,”‘ he recalled.
And Grande had said during an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that as soon as she met him she was smitten: ‘I left [Davidson’s writing room at ‘SNL’] and I jokingly said to my tour manager, I was like, ‘I’m marrying him. A hundred percent’.’
The pair however called it quits after a five-month engagement in October 2018, shortly after her ex Mac Miller’s tragic overdose in September 2018. A month later the relationship fell apart, with Davidson saying in a February 2020 interview: ‘I pretty much knew it was over after that.’ Last month Kim raised eyebrows when she posted Ariana lyrics as a caption to an Instagram post.
Along with a trio of photos in an all black leather outfit and Matrix-style sunglasses, the billionaire wrote, ‘Just like magic,’ with a gold star emoji. Fans didn’t know what to make of it, but it seems it was just another indication that there’s no bad blood between the ladies. The Voice judge quickly moved on from Pete since they split and she’s been married to beau Dalton Gomez since May 2021.
