Candidates who want to pursue their Master’s degree programs are welcome to apply. It is a fully funded scholarship in Europe, and there is no application cost. These scholarships are available for academic session of 2026-2028.
The European Commission provides full funding for the two-year master’s program. The EMJM EMABG Scholarship is open to applicants from all over the world. Six European universities in the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, France, Germany, and Norway offer this Master’s degree program. Applicants must finish a program at three or more universities in three or more distinct nations. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Animal Biodiversity and Genomics aims to provide future leaders with cutting-edge expertise to tackle biodiversity depletion and global food security. Our mission goes beyond academia to include industry and society at large. EMABG strives to be a driving force in interdisciplinary education in Europe and around the world.
The EMABG is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) program that addresses a real demand in the industrial sector and society as a whole. It is intended to address the scientific, practical, and societal issues of animal breeding, biodiversity, and genetics. The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) gathers and processes certain of the candidates’ personal information as part of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters program.

The candidate must be enrolled in at least three separate universities in three distinct nations.

Eligibility Criteria:
- All nationals are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- You must have a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with at least 180 ECTS.
- You must have a solid foundation in both animal production (such as animal breeding and nutrition) and basic sciences (such as genetics and statistics) if your degree is in a different discipline.
- English Proficiency: Your test score must be no older than two years in order to demonstrate a strong command of the language.
- TOEFL iBT: at least 92 (with a speaking minimum of 23).
- Academic IELTS: at least 7 (with a speaking score of at least 6.5).
- Cambridge: Additionally accepted are C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency.

English Proficiency Exemption:
- Candidates do not need to submit an English language competence certificate if they have earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following nations:
- Canada (with the exception of students who attend Quebec universities),
- Australia,

- the United States of America
