Applicants are welcome to win a fully funded, all-inclusive trip to Baku, Azerbaijan. Applications for the Essay Contest are now open. The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan is organizing this Essay Writing Competition, which is supported by the CICA Secretariat. Applicants aged 18 to 30 are eligible to compete in the CICA International Essay Contest. There are no application fees, and IELTS is not necessary for this fully funded visit to Azerbaijan.
The Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is a multilateral event that promotes peace, security, and stability in Asia. It is a forum that recognizes the intimate relationship between peace, security, and stability in Asia and the rest of the globe. While expressing their adherence to the UN Charter, the member states believe that dialogue and cooperation can lead to a common, indivisible area of security in Asia. The president of the Republic of Kazakhstan suggested convening CICA on October 5, 1992, at the 47th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the CICA Essay Contest 2025 in Azerbaijan, international students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Participants must be 18 to 30 years old.
- A citizen of one of the aforementioned countries is eligible to apply.
- Submission Requirements:
- Each participant can only submit one essay.
- A brief biography of the author must be included with the essay.
- Essays must not contain the author’s name.

- Line Spacing: 1.3 cm.
